Vaandi Rebrand

This rebrand project for Vanndi focused on pivoting a small business and creating a unique visual identity. The client came to me to change their whole brand from offering VA services to wider marketing options. This challenge involved a strategic start to focus the rebrand on the new offering.

Vaandi came to me as they were looking to pivot away from a VA role to focus on offering marketing services. We quickly understood the reasons for the switch and decided a full rebrand was required. Though the name was staying, the brand identity needed to change to help reinvent the brand. Due to this, I started with the Brand Adventurer workshop. This allowed us to uncover a deeper understanding of the brand. Ultimately, I was looking for what makes Vaandi different and how we could build an identity reflecting the brand’s unique story.

Ethical marketing was the most important theme uncovered. This became a core pillar of the brand identity from which we built the rest of the brand. The four elements were an early choice in the process, reflecting the idea of a natural order. This brought in the idea of ethical harmony and balance, notions that helped direct the visual identity. Additionally, these themes helped build the character of the brand.

The bright magenta and yellow scheme creates a high-energy, magical appeal. This reflects the brand’s core message – Communicating different perspectives to energise the client’s marketing. The entire brand identity was built around creating a bold, vibrant character, attracting an audience that wants something more magical than mundane. Other areas of the rebrand also continued with this design ethos. Patterns, typography choices, social media banners and layout for print and digital were all created with this in mind.

Results

The results have been big for the client. Not only are they more confident in their new identity, but they have also changed their offering successfully. This has meant bigger clients and a focus on growth.
